Arrival of Guests, met with Hosts and Welcome to all in the Town Hall.

Gathering at Car Dealer; Guests & Hosts arranged into small groups and allotted a vehicle; Treasure Hunt / Rally took everyone around the area, finding interesting sites etc. All gathered for lunch and later continue tour.

Schwabian Alps looked wonderful - deciduous trees all coming into full leaf and weather was superb.

Evening reception for all - Music, Dance, Food & Drink - Speeches and Renewal of Twinning Promises.

Morning Market: Many stalls populated by goods from Local People and from Charlieu & Calne. Guests, Hosts & other Eningen families all enjoyed the fine atmosphere of this event.

In the afternoon the Market continued but some people broke away for either Tennis or Boules competitions - the latter were very enjoyable, especially to the English who discovered their true selves in the Boules!

The evening was occupied by various Host families catering for their Guests - great Conversation, Food, Drink and - in one case, at least -

Unfortunately, the Charlieu visitors had to depart in the morning.

For others the day was spent with hosts. Various enjoyable activities were arranged, such as a walk around Eningen or visits to local places of interest (Tübingen, Reutlingen etc.) .
